hi guys i have some question i need some help

i have a dell inspiron 545

dual core e5400 2.7ghz
300 watt psu
ati radeon hd 4350
500 gig hd
so my question i am getting the ati radeon hd 4670 for xmas and also buying a 550 watt psu i am adding the links to wut i am buying below pretty much i want to know if it will work wit the dell insprion 545 i dont want to fry my computer and also i hear the hd radeon 4670 doesnt need any connector for the gpu like pci express connector,and i hear the 4670 can run on a 300 watt psu but i dont ok here the links pls tell me if these will install ok

thank so much for anyone who help me really my prob is finding a psu compatible wit the dell inspiron 545 cause i dont know how to tell if it will work once again i thank anyone who helps

From what I can tell, the case fits normally sized psu's. Other then that, it should work fine, although you don't need a 550w for a 4670.

You are in luck, there is a whole thread about this already: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/269982-33-4670-devili...

Basically you are all set to take the 4670 WITHOUT buying the new PSU. Just make sure that the card can fit, that there is enough space in your case.

well i know i can run the 4670 on a 300 watt psu from dell but i am upgrading to a 550 watt for future upgrade better basically im lookin in the price range of 70 dollars and i have a ati radeon hd 4350 and i dont think the 4670 is much bigger i think it will def fit in my machine

also i dont do hardcore gaming in my pc i play like company of heroes dawn of war 2 and in the future i want to start playin star wars the old republic will the 4670 be able to run those games on high setting

I would think so, but you may end up needing an htpc version.

wut a htpc version is that a low profile one i look for a low profile 4670 on new egg they dont seem to have any i seen a 5570 one i think but it look like the 4670 is better then that card the clocks are higher
