I'm curious to know if I would be able to fake a 3rd monitor with a Radeon 5850?
The idea would be to have dual monitors but trick Windows or Catalyst Control Center to think there is a 3rd monitor attached.
Reason for doing this is mainly for a World of Warcraft gaming system I have. Due to space and and more so, cost, I would like to add another monitor to my system. The issue is that in games like World of Warcraft, your character is the center point of the screen. Having only 2 screens would cause the bezels to cover the character. The reason to trick the sytem in having a 3rd monitor would be to still have the main screen as the center point, but have the ability to move gaming information (for those who play WoW, move the addons) to the 2nd screen.
