HI all, I have a problem w/am3+ mobo. My corsair ram (which is listed as compatible on Gigabytes web site) maybe I won`t see a difference in performance but i`d like to get it to post at 1866 which is native with FX-8150. Thanks in advance to all who reply. Have a good day. Mobo is 990fx -ud5

So why can't you set it to 1866?

I went into the bios and 1866 was an option. I set it to that. Whole thing froze lol

Did you set the timings, speed and voltage manually?

If the dimm sticker says 1.5v, 1866, 9-9-9-20 or similiar, then that's what his has to be set to in bios.
