Hello,

I was wondering if an XFX ATI Radeon HD 6850 will run on a 550watt power supply with 24amps on the 12v rail?

Really can't find the amp count for the 6850.. So does anyone know if 24amps on 1 12v rail will run?

If it will I will get the 6850 if not then well......

I really don't know the brand. It's just a generic supply inside the case.

24A is rather small for a 550W PSU. My 500W at home has 34A I think. You should have nearly 40A. What makes you think its 24A? Any numbers from it at all can help us ID it.
