I wouldn't recommend buying any PC at the moment as BD/SB releases in a few months so those would be good things to future proof. As for Batchuka's build. That looks really sweet.

I have another build in my siggy, kinda the same I prefer my build for more processing power. The 800$ build is also there which offers the same stuff as the 1000$ just the AMD platform isntead of the i5 750.

I'd suggest holding off un til April when sandy bridge is fixed ....

I don't need to go with Sandy Bridge for what my needs are. I really only play SC2 and League of Legends, so a computer built now would do that flawlessly and allow me to stream HD gameplay.

Is there a good $1k i5-750 build you could think of?

Yeah, I'm still unsure about what build I'm going to use. Your blog is kind of hard to read when it comes to what the 1055T build is.

Okay, made some changes to it. Went with a Radeon 6850, Antec 300 Illusion, Corsair PSU (Not that comfortable with XFX), and the 1090T BE. Its about the same price, total with OS, Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse is $1050 before rebates and shipping.

Considering games aren't even X4 optimised

The Game Rundown: Finding CPU/GPU Bottlenecks, Part 2
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/game-performance-bottleneck,2738-16.html
Conclusion: A Trend Toward 3+ Cores

The average optimal number of CPU cores suggested by the test results is 2.75, showing a clear trend towards at least three CPU cores. The question of whether the CPU or GPU is most important is easily answered. If you don't have a multi-core CPU, then upgrade it. If you have a dual-core CPU at around 3 GHz, then invest your money into a graphics card, as most games are GPU-limited. This is not something that will change with new DirectX 11 games.

A 955BE and the best GPU you can buy is the best bang :D

The thing is, I am going to be streaming HD gameplay, which is very processor intensive.

I need a strong processor as well as a strong GPU to do this, which is why I feel the need to go with the 1090T.
