Hey everyone, sorry for the stupid question. No one on Sevenforums could answer this, and frankly I need help .
Anyway, I bought two 4gb sticks of crucial ram and installed them on my computer. Half of it went straight to the hardware reserved section of the resource monitor. How can I fix this?
My BIOS does not have a memory remapping option either.
I've read a few things on voltage and whatnot, but honestly Im confused. I'm software savvy, not hardware savvy, so don't use big frightening words please .
My 'amazing' computer specs:
CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) II P340 Dual-Core Processor
Motherboard: Hewlett-Packard 1444
BIOS: Default System BIOS
Total Memory: 8.00 GB
Usable Memory: 3.75 GB
HDD: WDC WD32 00BEVT-60A23T0 SATA Disk Device
Sound Card: (1) ATI High Definition Audio Device (2) Realtek High Definition Audio
Graphics Card: AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 7600 Multiprocessor Free
Pictures? If I can figure out how to add them
