Need Help on 1000 build

Hey guys ok so i was looking at building a SB platform but now with the cougar point problem it looks like im going to migrating else where

So im hoping you guys will be able to help me out with a build. I'm basically starting from scratch.

My budget is about 1000 dollars

Im looking at a gtx 560

Corsair 600t and hx 650 power supply


I definitely want 8g's of ram

Hoping for a nice classy case

Definitely going to overclock and looking at an sli set up down the road

Other then that any pointers or ideas on parts or where to save money would be AWESOME. I'm at a massive loss at the moment. Purchase date is next wednesday

Whats your main use for this computer? Why Sandy Bridge?What resolution are you at? Why 8GB of ram?

You are not going to be getting a Sandy Bridge build next Wednesday. You are aware of the SB bug right ?

You are going to have a hard time finding someone to sell you a 1155 based board knowing that it is defective and they will have to exchange it come April when the fixed models come out. Here's a build you can do in April though.

The XFX Black is easily an equal to the Corsair HX series and ya can get a 100 more watts for $25 less than the cost of the HX you wanted.....and those are watts you will need if overclocking w/ twin GFX cards. I'd even consider the XFX Black 850 for $10 more.

The 600T on the other hand is a budget killer.

So im looking at a different processor and board thats why im asking for the help

Anyways Ill be using the computer for autocad an gaming mostly im an engineering graphics student so ill be putting a fairly heavy load on the machine.

As for the case the antec is definitely my fall back i just would prefer something with a little more cable management and a black interior
