6870 Mouse pointer problem

So with the current 10.10 drivers when i have overclock on sometimes if i place my mouse cursor in the bottom right corner the mouse becomes corrupted, i have searched and i guess this is a sort of common problem people have encountered and it sounds 68XX specific, was just wondering if anyone has encountered this and if you found a fix for the time being other than rebooting, thanks.

p.s. anyone know when 6800 series specific drivers will be out? meaning not hotfixed ones.

10.11 have been out for a few weeks, try those and see if it still happens.

Can't believe people still complain about this, it's been a known issue since the launch of the 5800s, though i've never had a single problem with my 5850

for 64 bit i cant find 10.11, hmm. ill keep looking, i mean its not a major issue for me when the pointer changes to the text doodad it fixes, was just wondering if there was an actual fix to it, if i cant find the 10.11 64 bit ill just wait it out, thanks for the info.

yeah that is what i came across, the 10.10 are hotfixed for 68XX cards, dont know why they would take a step back but go figure. so presummably its a waiting game now for the new drivers, anyone have an idea when those come out? maybe with 69XX? i can only guess

I wouldn't be surprised if the Hotfix 10.10 are newer than the 10.11 drivers, hence no 6800 support.
