Hello my company wants to use EVGA classified sr 2 motherboard and use a raid 0 controller http://www.scan.co.uk/products/highpoint-rocketraid-2320(rr2320)-8-channel-internal-pci-e-x4-to-sata-ii-raid-controller(card)

My question is

1) would sata 3 be able to be linked to this raid contoller
2) if not can i use sata 2 in the sata 3 slots

thank you for taking you time to read and answer this question

i am thinking about using these drives http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-235-SE for the sata 2 and http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-354-WD&groupid=701&catid=14&subcat=940 for sata 3

SATA ports are all backward and forward compatible.. Thus you can use a SATA II drive on a SATA III port and likewise.. However, if you are planning on buying SATA III hard drives then keep in mind that they cost extra for no apparent benefits.. If you need speed then get SSD.. A single SSD will perform better compared to couple of SATA drives in RAID 0.. But of course they are costly and carry lower capacity..
