My ASRock Z68 PROFESSIONAL GEN3 LGA 1155 Intel MoBo will not post even with nothing plugged in but a CPU heatsink. I have tested this with two power supplies (one of which was suspect) but Ill get my hands on a known good third one tomorrow.
Whole Story
I had just rebuilt my system for gaming. I started having problems with sudden powerloss followed by a reboot at very particular points in video games (when I clicked continue, loaded a new area, etc.). I thought it to be issues with my audio drivers since it happend in skyrim, and stopped happening in skyrim after they patched their sound files to better work on PC. Then it started happening in Orcs must Die, and L.A. Noire, but never in two other games I play way more often and for longer periods of time. I scoured the internet looking for a fix. I ran MEMTEST, reinstalled my graphics and audio drivers. And was in the process of reseating my memory and GPUs when my computer refused to even POST. I had figured my PSU finally died, but I pulled an older PSU out and my MoBo wont power on or give an error code on the "Dr. Debug" LED screen with GPUS/GPU + RAM, just RAM, and just GPU seated. Is there any other potential cause I could check or do I need to start calling about warranty information?
Thanks in advance for your help.
