I am trying to build a system with gtx 460 768 because i heard it was superior to the 5770 at that price range. However i just read that its not a good idea to mix nvidia with and AMD processor, true or false? Advice?

More about : nvidia amd

Best solution

Nvidia video cards works fine on an AMD chipset MOBO the only problem is that they do not support SLI (since AMD supports crossfire instead) so you will be limited to just a single 460 ! (unless you get an AMD MOBO with an Nvidia chipset instead of the AMD chipset)
