$1800 Gaming PC build help

Hey Everyone,

This is my first time building a PC and I wanted some input.

I am looking for the most bang for my buck and a computer that will last

I would like some advice/suggestions on the build, my budget is pretty flexible but i won't go over 2k.


Approximate Purchase Date: Within the month

Budget Range: $1700 - $1900 After rebates

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, watching videos, web surfing and school work.

Parts Not Required: Keyboard, mouse, speakers.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: No preference

Country of Origin: USA

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe

Monitor Resolution: 1280x1024 and higher

Additional Comments: Very flexible with the build, I just want best gaming system for the best price I can get.

PSU: Corsair TX 850w

Monitor: Any ideas? I want HD LCD w/ build in speakers

With this budget building right now isn't the smartest idea, the Sandy Bridge CPUs which were recalled will hit shelves again in March/April this would be the ideal time to buy.

Your entire build will change buy the time march rolls around so I would just hunker down and wait
