P8Z68-v Pro/Gen3 w/ Corsair low profile/voltage Vengeance RAM

Does anyone know if the ASUS P8Z68-V Pro/Gen3 works w/ the Corsair low profile/voltage 1.35v Vengeance RAM? It's not on the QVL and i just want to make sure before I buy it. If not, anyone know of some pretty cool white/grey/blue colored RAM?

Yes, 1.35v RAM works fine with SB/LGA 1155. You should access the BIOS and either use XMP or manually set the DRAM Frequency, CAS Timings and DRAM Voltage per rated spec.

Simplest is XMP, BIOS / AI Overclock Tuner -> XMP then save & exit; this assumes (1) set not (2) sets.

Do you happen to know the difference in performance between the Low voltage and regular Vengeance 1600 MHz? Kingston HyperX/Genesis Grey? G.Skill Ripsaw?

If both the CAS Timings (e.g. 9-9-9-24) and Frequency (DDR3-1600) are the same then the performance will be statistically identical. The differences tiny as they are e.g. 0.25~0.5FPS in gaming are due to the RAM's IC's quality.

However, the Kingston HyperX Grey (Genesis) is 1.65v RAM and NOT recommend for the SB CPU. When getting any RAM for the Sandy Bridge only select 1.50v or less RAM.
