This build is for my friend who is a DJ, I put this together and I just need an overview to see if I'm missing anything or if anything can be improved for less money.

Just a single comment to start:

Don't get an IDE optical drive. Get an SATA optical drive. They are the same price, but IDE is older and being phased out.

Other than that, the only thing I can think of is the motherboard is a bit dated (7xx chipset). You could up that one up to a 8xx series chipset with USB 3.0 and SATA 3 for upgrade-ability. If you can stretch the budget a bit, that is.

Everything is compatible and good quality.
