Hello I am getting ready to build a new pc finally, and I was wanting to share my ideal specs and components to collaborate and determine if there would be any issues that may arise. My goal is to use the parts bellow to get the best out of AMD and NVIDIA.
If I understand correctly with this motherboard I should be able to use GPU1 and GPU2 to render graphics with true x16 + x16 crossfire, and GPU3 running at 4x as a PPU. Please inform me if I am mistaken, or of any suggestions, improvements, etc.

Parts.

One thing to remember. If you want to use Nvidia cards, use an Nforce chipset, not the AMD chipset. AMD makes ATI cards these days. Their chipsets are designed for ATI cards.

I have never heard of ANYONE ever trying to run both ATI AND Nvidia together. I suspect there will be tons of issues here. I dunno if it would even work to be honest.

What do you want to do with your new machine? Gaming or just general video/internet? This will help us advise you better on which direction you may want to look.

This setup looks good to me as long as you are using the 9600 for physics then you should be ok. I am guessing that you already have the 9600 from an old build, if not I would recommend a little better card for physics, like a gts 250 or better but it would work.
