tecra 8000 and XP memory

Hi

I have asked before but did not get a reply that helped so here goes a
few months down the line :)

I have a toshiba tecra 8000 PII 300 and wish to max out the ram .
crucial state it will only hold 2 X 128's but others on here claimd to
have fitted more so can I conform if anyone has really fitted more
memory than 256meg into a toshiba tecra 8000 and if so what was the
speed crucial states it can only be PC 66 and not pc 100.

Memory sites show the limit as 256mb. That's what I had in mine. I believe I
bought PC66 but this says PC100. This link has more info:
