This is my rig.
CPU:C2D E6750 @ 2.66 will OC to 3.4 .Calculated power after OC is 95 watts (calculated by thermaltek psu calc )
MOBO:Biostar TP43E Combo
RAM:2x(1 gb kingstone 667oc to 850 gets a little warm but not considerable )
1 7200 hdd,1 dvd-dl-rw drive,cooler master tx3 cooler
GPU:sapphire 6850 1gb

I did so much reading and came to these two PSUs.I wont OC the GPU.
The GPU needs max 12 amp and the CPU 8 amp max which is 20 amp on 12v rail. The cx430 have 28 amp and cx500 have 34 amp.price difference is 15$ as per prices in india.
I am a little out of buget of would like the cx430.But if it cant handle the sys the will go for cx500.I will not upgrade the sys any further and it will be dumped after 10 months.
Need you advice.Ask freely for more info.
Edit:Thanks for all the replys.I discovered that for my monitor resolution(1280x1024) ,the HD5770 will be enough so i am going for it.And its tdp is 108 watts max so the cx430 can handle it.
cheers

Hi.

What's your budget for the PSU? The CX isn't the best Corsair's series.

Kingstone? LOL Reminds me of Keith Stone (Keystone)

I'd recommend a 500w or better simply because your going to want to upgrade that aging beast at some point and you don't want to have to buy a new psu right?

The CX series is pretty generic imo. The warranty is crap. Even cheap OCZ psu's have a better warranty.

This one is only $49 till 5/9. 80+ bronze certified. 3yr warranty. Quiet.

Edit:Rolf u were pointing to the typo mistake and i thought that u were saying that i have "kingstone"(Kingston) ram which are not so good.Rolf
I clearly said the i WONT upgrade the system any more just need the cheapest that can run it GOOD for 10 months.
Thnx for replying both of you.

I'm curious, why 10 months? The GeekApproved's recommendation is a good one.

Will get a ivy bridge as soon it releases and also i will move from my parents to my college.
wait i am checking if that's "available" at some Indian online store.
Edit: Crap, its available but for Rs4500 that's 100$,way out of my budget.
I think i should go for the 500cx.Can u recommend me some more PSUs,maybe i can find them in my budget.
cheers

This XFX 650W is an excellent PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

$58.99 after rebate.

Sorry guys but price in india are too high because most good brands do not sell their products here directly by themselves but those are imported by local companies of india and have usually 20-30% more cost so keep that in mind.
xfx 650w is Rs.5000 110$.
i appreciate your efforts.
cheers

Sorry didn't catch the India part. Any decent branded 80+ certified psu with the needed 6pin pci-e cables that you need for your card will work.

Anything over 450w will be fine, but like I said, why not buy a more powerful one so that you don't have to buy another one when you do your IB build?

Tigerdirect, SuperBiiz and some other store in the USA also have International shipping.

My budget stops me.well i am also considering GS600 for the future part, that's Rs3700 80$. will its work?i don't think so coz with the ivy bridge i will surely go for a dual card config(budget wont be a prob at that time,i will be allowed to buy any thing).
Well what about cm gx450?It have 35A on 12v.but thentheir CX500 with 34A.
Now GX450-Rs3215 35A on 12v
cx430-Rs2200 :o  28A on 12v
cx500-Rs2850 34A on 12v
If gs450's build quality is better that cx500's i will go for it.But if cx430 can take my sys for some time then why i should go for those others?
Edit: This is my favorite store

Yeah they do.Also some sellers of amazon uk do it.But one must be sure about the customs otherwise i can be a pain in the *** :ouch:

It is.
Edit:Sites like 20north.com and shoyourworld.com allows buyers from india to buy from amazon and they take care of the customs and all.But its costly on getting it from the websites coz they import on case to case basis while the shops import a "big" stock and hence less price.

The CX430 or GX450 will work just fine for your needs. Both are decent 80+ psu's, the GX has a better warranty and is a little more efficient.
