Flash a new bios

My mobo is locked down and i am looking for a way to get past it. (dell xps 720)

The mobo is a
model: 0YU822 a00
Chipset NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI SPP a2
Chipset NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI MCP a3



People also said i could possible flash another bios onto it thats a 680i by evga or xfx

Don't do it. Your dell board contains a small bios file identifying it as geniune dell, which effects your windows installation. I doubt you can force the evga bios file to load, but if it does, don't be surprised is your board won't boot. Dell boards are actually worth more than some regular brands, since they have a short manufacturing lifespan and dell charges too much for replacement boards.

I agree never to use a different BIOS; typically your MOBO won't even allow it.

Use -> http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriversHome/NeedProductSelection and download and install the latest BIOS and Drivers. Upon a simple Google search I only noted A06 -> http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/DriverDetails/DriverFileFormats?c=us&l=en&s=bsd&cs=04&DriverId=R182989 but verify first, the first link is your best bet.
