Help Building $1000 Gaming Rig

So basically I will be using the computer to play games like wow FF14 and some FPS black ops and such. As well as have a dual monitor support for playing poker and running a few applications during that. I will also be using a capture card to upload gameplay and such.

So my thoughts on the build so far were these. Also Im looking to buy this around feb 15 I will be needed a monitor as well but thats not a important right now. Also theres better prices around just basic estimates

  2. There's no point in going with the FX, even if you plan xfire later, the GX 8x/8x is just fine. If you don't plan Xfire, then the 870 is a good choice for a lot less money.

    Also while the 5850 is a great card, there are newer, more efficient cards available now for a similiar price. Look at 6870 and 6950. These prices are dropping weekly so expect them to be cheaper next week.

    Don't forget about, they consistently beat out Newegg and almost always offer free shipping on items Newegg charges $7-8 for shipping.
