Here's a page of PCI cards but I wouldn't expect a miracle. I think you could flip a coin between the 9500GT and HD 4350. The geforce card may be slightly faster, but neither wlll get you playing the latest games. Might work for WoW and casual games though.

Just get the HD4350. It can handle any games that your processor will allow you to play. Whatever card you buy it will probably be worth more than the computer you are putting it in. You can probably find extremely cheap second hand systems that are over well over twice as fast as a Pentium 3 system.

i think your p3 933 will be bottleneck to it...despite these pci card are really crappy in today's standard.... like 8400gs's bottom line is pentium 4 1.5ghz.... your p3 933 is more or less in the same category with p4 1.3ghz in term of performance...better get a pentium 4 2.0ghz or above or you won't see any performance gain due to the weak cpu power...

get a e3xxx and a piece of g31 board and you will notice huge difference...it's far cheaper than upgrade that junk. even gma 3100 onboard can beat the 8400gs pci....not to mention e3xxx will blow p3 off from this dimension to another world.....

Any card on the market now will be faster than what your P3 can deal with, does not matter if you get a good one or not. P3 with 512 RAM for any games made in the last 10 years is like driving a Yugo in an F1 race. I suggest you find a newish P4 system with a PCIe slot on the used market, in the US market at least you can get a fairly quick system for under $100, some may even include a video card. Much better than spending $30+ on a video card for a system that won't run anything.

I suggest 2.8gig + CPU, and a system with DDR400 RAM, that's pretty much as fast as you'll get. I think most P4 systems with 3gig + will have a PCIe slot where you can use modern video cards.

well, rather spending amounts of money on old stylish p4(either 478 or 775) why not get a nice e17xx, e3xxx or e5xxx/6xxx with a cheap g31/41 board? plus his s370 or slot 1 board probably won't able to install either of these p4 processor and ddr ram...(p3 only support rambus and pc 100/133 sdram...)

however if possible....go for g6950 or i3...that will last quite long and runs less power than 775 platform based pentium/celeron
