First Time Watercooling Setup

I'm considering ordering a custom water-cooling setup, but I wanted to check here and make sure I had everything right. I've never WC'd before, so I really don't know much about it yet...

There's what I've found. I love that waterblock, and would really like to keep the 5.25" pump+reservoir. Oh, and my case is a CM 690 II Advanced... I'd prefer to keep all parts internally mounted.

Other than that, I thought everything looked good. All metal barbs, a decent dual radiator, and it seems like everything would look fairly clean once it gets installed.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

You could get one of these kits and do a few of your own upgrades for a little cheaper. You already have a few of the XSPC components in your kit.
These kits are great and alot of people think that the water block is on of the best, I cant give you my opinion because I have never owned one but the guy over at overclockers.net seem to love these kits. I have people say they perform just as good if not better than the Swiftech kits.

Looks pretty good. I would change out the fittings and clamps for these Bitspower Ultimate G 1/4 Thread 3/8" ID x 1/2" OD Compression Fitting (BP-CPF-CC2) for $6.99 ea. Also, I didn't see any fluid mentioned. You are planning on using something like Koolance Liquid Coolant Bottle, High-Performance, 700mL (Blue or green) right?? Not using some deionized water with herbicide I hope.

Honestly, I would actually change the fitting size from 3/8" to all 1/2" inside diameter, (ID). You'll get more flow for better cooling across the cpu and later down the road if/when you decide to add the video card and the on board chipset to the water cooled loop you will love having the cpu block already set up to continue the loop. Just make sure you get all the compression fittings the same size for the reservoir/pump and the block at first. Something like these Koolance 1/2" (13mm) ID G1/4 Threaded Nozzles Pair (NZL-V13KG) for $12.99. They are 5/8" outside diameter, (OD) so you will need to get the Tygon B-44-4X 1/2" ID (5/8" OD) - "Non-Porous" Smooth Tubing for $2.25/ft. Not bad for your first build.
