just bought this yesterday

http://us.msi.com/index.php?func=proddesc&maincat_no=130&prod_no=2035

seemed that everything was ok until the 3d applications kicks in like 3dmark vantage or kombustor
then the temp would rise in less than 4 seconds to over 104 c then the gpu close down .

here is a screen of afterburner showing the max 100c just before locking down while kombustor is on

system specs E8500/460gtxhawk/4 gb kingston ddr2 800/ P5Q Pro/WD caviar Black 750GB/Corsair tx 750W/ SUMO 5115/SAMSUNG 2333SW lcd/win7 64bit home premium.

installed latest drivers . should i go for RMA or there is something with the voltage ?

if in less then 4 seconds probably badly applied heatsink paste, although should have issues on desktop aswell, or run really warm,

What are your temps without 3D stuff, just idling? If they are high just return the card and get a new one, don't want to mess around with heatsinkpaste yourself if you just got the card yesterday
