  1. many different ways, but these chips all have different architectures so you can't compare them like that.

GTX470 is the fastest of the set though, then 460 and lastly 5770

Is there significant difference in the performance of gtx 460 and 5770??
  3. Oh yes, quite a big difference.

    A GTX460 outperforms a 5830, I don't even want to know where it leaves the 5770.

If the difference in price is small between the two where you are, go for the 460

Gtx 460 is available only as Palit Sonic Edition or Zotac AMP edition. Are these manufacturers good?

Oh the Palit Sonic Edition is AMAZING!!!!

I wanted to get one before but I could not get it in my country.

If you can afford to go for the Palit card, go for it!

Btw, just to be sure, what are the other specs of your rig?
    CPU, RAM, and PSU?

EDIT: Zotac is fine too but I highly recommend the PALIT Sonic Edition, has a VERY nice factory OC on it.

    Thanks for your replies.
I will try to get the Sonic edition.
