I don't quite understand your question here...

But, you need to populate the correct RAM slots, as rolli said. You need two perfectly identical RAM sticks, and place them in the same coloured slots. Your motherboard should have four slots, two of them one colour and the other two another colour. These colours indicate the same slots of different channels, and as such you must place the sticks in the same coloured slots.

Then, with regards to the 1066MHz RAM running at 800MHz, it would seem as if you are running DDR2 memory. In DDR2 RAM slots, you won't gain much from 800MHz to 1066MHz, in fact, it's quite irrelevant. I wouldn't recommend overclocking the motherboard to accompany the RAM, as you seriously won't see much difference in games at all. Rather keep it at 800MHz and look at slight overclocking of your CPU if you want a little more speed. :)

I got the single channel resolved, it was a stupid mistake on my part..but now i cant get my 1066 mhz to run at 1066, it reads 800mhz in the bios? frustrating.

You will have to set the ram speed manually in BIOS, that is enter the value instead of having it on auto.

Exactly as rolli59 said. You'll need to increase the FSB to match your RAM speed. 800MHz is fine though, you won't really notice difference in gaming between 800MHz and 1066MHz.
