Hey guys, Ive had my new build for around 6 months, never overclocked it, dont like the thought.

I downloaded ASUS pc probe 2 and I had the max temp alarm at 60, then it kept going up so I set it to 70 and it still goes off. Is this temparture range in the norm ?

It idles at 35 Degrees and as you can see, maxes at 71 ish

I have Intel Core i7 860
Asus P7P55D-E Pro
G-Skill 8GB (4x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz Ripjaws Memory Kit CL7(7-8-7-24)
CM Storm Scout Case
Coolermaster Silent Pro 700W Modular PSU
ATI Radeon HD5850

Those Temps are normal if you are using the stock cooler on it. Also you should take in consideration the ambient temperature zone where you live. An ex. My CPU is a corei7 920 overclocked @3.6Ghz, cooled by an Hyper 212+. And temps raises up to 79C° running prime95 and the ambient temp in sommer where I do live are at 29°C sometimes 30°, and when ambient temps go down to 19° my cpu @ full load with same frequencies goes up to 68°. so as I saw this I can tell you, you are fine.
