We ask for a budget because you can build a really crappy overall PC that can run WOW on ultra (also define ultra, WOW default doesn't include stuff like maxed out shadows and higher AA/AF settings).

Depending upon budget, we can allocated more towards a balanced machine, or just towards a max performance in a specific game rig.

In addition, the budget for a PC built to run 720p vs a PC to run 1080p or to run 1600p varies greatly in price.

In short, you can't just say play wow on ultra. You'll need to supply either a budget or a full breakdown of setting and resolution.

What res is your current monitor? Also, do you need OS?

Here's a baseline 1080p build. You can add a new 1080p monitor and/or OS as needed. You can also upgrade to the HAF 922 if you don't need both monitor and OS.

Leaves you $300 to grab monitor/OS and better case. Xfire capable.

I wouldn't go Nvidia with this setup simply because AMD doesn't support SLI, so you'd basically be stuck without the upgrade path.

Links don't work.

Core edition is more expensive and worse performing that black edition PSU.

Don't need 8gb of RAM for gaming, though it's cheap enough now that it's not a big deal. Still, you're better off with lower cas latency RAM.

You should also actually answer questions you're asked if you want help...

Shadows are just plain coded wrong in WoW it don't matter what you spend if you max shadows your will take major FPS hits. Just play everything else ultra and turn shadows down, and $500 will get you going easy.
