Hey I just received all the parts for my new system and need a little bit of help

COOLER MASTER V8 RR-UV8-XBU1-GP 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler Intel Core i7 compatible

I have everything hooked up, I connect the HDMI cable to the video card and turn it on, it turns on and the fans go but there is no video. On my motherboard it has a red LED next to the vga card and i read in the manual it says that that is where the problem is at but I don't see anything wrong.. what should I do?
