I know these error codes are impossible to find on the web since you
apparently need to be an authorized repair shop to get them, but if someone
could help me out, that would be great.
Here's the situation. Laptop had water (plain water, not coffee, not soda,
etc) spilled on the keyboard. I turned it off immediately by holding the
power button for several seconds, unplugged power cord and removed battery.
I dabbed water from keybd and then proceeded to disassemble it to absorb any
further water that may have gotten inside. I removed kybd, LCD display and
top half of the system before putting it back together.
I'm now getting the amber light flashing 01001000 (1 = long flash). I'm
hoping that I simply jiggled one of the ribbon cables loose and the code is
telling me which module is not working. Any ideas would be appreciated.
