i have vista acer laptop and i have tried to get the 90 free trail on the windows 7 and i just can't seem to get it what might the problem be

The problem might be that you are not giving a clear description of your problem. Especially how you went about trying to get the 90 free trial. I'm not psychic and I really hate making assumptions.
