I've been searching but can't seem to find a straight forward answer. The game I'd like to buy suuggests that the ideal GPU is nvidia GeForce 8800 or equivalent. I hve the Radeon 4650 and wanted to find out if that would cut the mustard. :) Thanks

I've found the answer, just posting it here because one or more of the 40 viewers so far might want to know the answer, assuming that they didn't already based on the lack of replys. If they knew then they would have taken the time to help out a brother in need hey, unless they're mean-meanie's which obviously no-one her is hey!. No but seriously people here have helped me out no end and I'm thankful and I just want to point anyone else in need in the right direction when I can.

OK my 4650 (1GB DDR2) is not equivilent to the Geforce 8800 it's one tier down the heirachy of the 256mb version. At least according to Don Woligroski's article published here on Tom's Hardware on the 4th November 2010.
If anyone wants else would like to check nVidia to ATI equivilents then here's the link to said article.

GF 8800GTS is very very old... Yet, is as powerfull as some of this generation's entry-mid level... I think it's on pait with the 5570 GDDR5 or 5670... I'm just guessing...
