I Would like Crossfire two Radeon HD4850 512 MB to play crysis at 1280x1024 resolution with a MSI 870-G45 Motherboard. Good Idea or Bad? Any suggestions? The Motherboard has PCIE 16x and PCIE 4x slots. How would that affect perfomance?

Bad idea, no offense. Crossfire isn't the best option for low resolutions. If I were you I'd grab a single HD5770 or HD6850. More expensive than crossfire, but you always have the option of Crossfiring whichever card you choose if/when you upgrade your monitor.
