Nvidia 8500 Code 43 Issues

This originally started a few months ago in the form of BSoD. I somehow fixed it (was caused by bad drivers on Nvidia's part) and now I receive Code 43 on my video card. I'm hoping it's a driver issue that I can fix, and not a hardware issue such as the card melting. I'm currently running Windows 7.

Ah, that sucks. Guess I need a new one, could anyone recommend a good cheap one? I'm planning on building a new computer in a few weeks, so nothing major. I've never been too good at posting specs, so I'll do all I can.

Nvidia GeForce 8500 GT
Intel Core 2 CPU 6300 @ 1.86GHz
RC663AA-ABA a1640n <---- Guessing that's my mobo, not sure
2048 MB RAM

This should hold up fine while you get your PC, It's a bit less performance wise than a 9600gt( I think).

Do you know if it has any major issues by chance? Because I discovered 8500's overheating problem too late =(.

Did you check temps ? what are them like?

Didn't need to, it just started artifacting all over the place one day. Anyway, thanks for help, probably going to buy that card.

Chances are the main die or the vrams melt a little, causing it to artifact
