Hello,
I recently purchased the Canon G6.
I noticed that, when ISO is set at Auto ISO, the camera systematically
chooses ISO 50, even in very low lighting conditions. The manual only
briefly mentions Auto ISO when dealing with the flash.
I (naively ?) assumed the camera would take the optimum trio: shutter
speed/aperture/ISO value e.g. when in Automatic mode.
If Auto ISO would be only relevant when using flash, then this behaviour is
a nuisance: with settings at Auto-ISO and Auto-flash, ISO 50 would always be
used when the camera decides for no flash in a given situation.
I suppose I miss a point somewhere.
Can you help?
Thanks,
Chris
