Hello,
i just built a new pc and have 1 stick of kinston 4g 1333 ddr3 mem, when i booted up bios it was at 1066 mhz 7-7-7-20 1n timings. i switched it to 1333 with 9-9-9-27 timings but i was unable to find info on whether it should be 1n or 2n. also the volatage was at 1.575 but i switched it to 1.495 since im using an i3. are these settings right? and should it be at 1n or 2n?

1066 at 7-7-7-20 is probably either just as fast or real close to 1333 cas 9-9-9-27. Higher frequencies are faster but so are lower timings so the two about equal out. I would run the stick at whatever the default is. 1.5v is correct for Sandy Bridge processors.
