Well, i have a core 2 quad q6600 and tried 3 programs to monitor temperature under 100% CPU load and...

(Note: the values under temp2 on speedfan are constant/never change...)

The problem is that, since they are showing different temperatures, i don't know which is correct if any ever is... Nor if its the actual core temperature or what...

On a side note, yesterday before i reinstalled the heatsink and cooler the computer shut down on 100% load while i was running everest, when it was registering about 99C on the "CPU" field, the individual core temperatures went negative before the shut down.

Still i must know if, now after reinstalling the heatsink, these temperatures are good or not and can damage the cpu or not... Oh, consider that my room's temperature is about 30C (Yes i'm sweating...)

Thanks in advance!

If you look in the picture you can see 100% cpu load... those temperatures are after a few mins running under 100% load, after i reinstalled the heatsink and put new thermal paste under it...
