Two pci 16 versus one 16 one 4?

ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 AM3 AMD 880G HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard I purchased this for 119 from newegg it only has one pci at 16 and one at 4, with two hd6870's will I see significant performance with two lanes at 16? say with a crosshair 4 which is $100 more!

You will see some performance loss but if you google PCIe scaling you will see that a slot running at x4 vs x16 is around 5-10% depending on the game and resolution.

If you want top performance X16/x16 is the way to go.

I'd get this motherboard. 8x/8x PCI-E 2.0 crossfire.
