Hi community, I bought this PC new in the summer of 2006 since I had been playing my WoW (which I know is not graphic extensive)on ultra graphics, I never felt need to upgrade but since I moved to Rift which made my pc lag a little bit I am considering putting some more money into this thing. here are my specs.

Operating System
MS Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit SP2
CPU
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ 48 °C
Brisbane 65nm Technology
RAM
2.0GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 386MHz (6-6-6-18)
Motherboard
ASUSTeK Computer INC. M3A32-MVP DELUXE (CPU 1) 49 °C
Graphics
DELL 2009W (1280x768@60Hz)
512MB GeForce GTS 250 (EVGA) 36 °C
Hard Drives
488GB Seagate ST3500620AS ATA Device (SATA) 28 °C
Optical Drives
HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GH22NP20 ATA Device
Audio
High Definition Audio Device

I'd like to hear some of your output on what I should upgrade to see noticeable increase in FPS for Rift and future games coming

so you never built it yourself?
Most of OEM builds really limit upgrade due to bios locks.

First off is get some more ram in it, 4Gb of matched sticks
and upgrade graphics card to Nvid 460/Ati5770 level
No mention of your psu but a newer one wouldn't hurt you

At that resolution it should still hold up ok. I'd advise against upgrading because it probably wouldn't be worth it and instead invest in a new pc and monitor.
