Are you playing any other games or your just playing Flight Simulator? What (monitor)resoultion are you going to be playing at and is your motherbaord PCIexpressx16, 2.0 or 2.1?
I might but FLight sim is the one that is the most graphics intensive. I would like to run it at a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080. The motherboard has PCI express 2.0 x 16.
The Flight Simulator Website says that reccomend Graphics should have 512.Even at 1920x1080 the 5670 could manage but the 5770 is just a little bit better and they both have 1G of memory so you should be fine espically with a i5.Those Flight Simulators aren't particualry demanding so you should be fine, what were you trying to play it on b4 you decided to upgrade?
A desktop with a Pentium D processor and also my laptop with a core 2 duo 4gb RAM and a 512 MB Nvidia card
Prossesor's good on the laptop, but the game is more Graphics Card demanding.A good 1g card like the 5770 or 5670 should play the game the way you want it.
What are you doing with a 700watt psu if you don't mind me asking?
with that kind of power supply he already can take on any gpu out there. but more what's more important is what kind of PSU is that? is it generic one or the the good one?
I have a 700W PSU because it was the same price as a 500W and I figured if i ever wanted to upgrade the graphics card or do sli or crossfire i might as well go with the 700W PSU.
Well i gues that seems like a logical choice but what is the make and model of your PSU?
