That's great that your life is so boring that you went through my previous post.
I thought the guy was talking about a 2500K, not a 2600K. Obviously I knew weeks before it was even released, that the 2600K had hyperthreading, hence the $100 price difference.
If you spent so much time looking through my back posts, you could not have missed the several times I suggested the user spend the extra money on the 2600K over the 2500k because of they extra 4 cores (virtual).
I've been building PC's since 1997, and while I'm no expert, especially when it comes to software, I do know quite a bit about hardware. I'd also like to mention that like most of us, I do make mistakes from time to time. I'm human.
I'd like to point out that even though it was a mistake, some of the other forum members actually agreed with me. LOL
It was just a dumb upgrade period.
