Pegatron motherboard crash

Hello,
I don't know anything about computers - but my motherboard died Pegatron M2N78-LA which goes into a HP 6116f tower. I need to replace it but having a difficult time locating a motherboard. I have an AMD Athlon x2 with AM2+ Socket. Can I use another motherboard that is compatable? If so, which one? Thanks!~

You can, but you'll need a new windows coa if you are still using the original installation. For a windows coa, check craigslist. Get only a sealed package with cd and coa number.
