If you require >32GB then the LGA 2011/SB-E Intel X79 Chipset with 8XDIMM or (8x8GB) 64GB. If you need more then many LGA 1366 Workstation and Server MOBO's are up to 192GB~384GB.

If you need a Workstation then IMO stick with Xeon. How much RAM do you need?

    Consumer Example ASUS P9X79 WS (64GB) Intel X79 Chipset LGA 2011 - http://usa.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_2011/P9X79_WS/#specifications

    Server Example SuperMicro X8DTN+-LR (384GB) Intel 5520 Chipset 18 DIMM LGA1366 - http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/QPI/5500/X8DTN_.cfm?IPMI=O&LRDIMM=Y
