First Computer

I am going to be building a computer for video editing with programs like AE, 3DS Max , Maya , Sony Vegas etc etc. I also want it to be powerful enough to play video games and screen recording while playing.

Because i have no experience with building computers or any of this stuff a friend of mine recomended i use this site to help me. Do any of you have any suggestions as to which parts i should use and buy etc etc.

Wait for the 2500K and SB Cougar Point chipset fix. Mayan and Vegas run really well on it, specially after effects. With any of the other parts, they are suggested in my siggy.
