How Many Physical Cores This CPU Have?
CPU Type DualCore Intel Core 2 Duo E6300, 1866 MHz (7 x 267)

I am Asking Because Im Confused, When i checked in Intel Site It is Writen That Its Got 2 Cores,
Here it is: http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=27248&wapkw=(E6300)
or

Now, When I Ran "SIW" Program It Wrote:
Number of Logical Processors 2
Number of Physical Processors 1
CPU #1 Intel Core 2 Duo E6300
CPU Name Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6300 @ 1.86GHz
CPU Code Name Conroe

So Please Can Anyone Tell Whats Going On?
Is It 1 Componant Devided To 2 Logical Cores?
OR
Is It 2 Componants That Are Indipended?

Thank You Very Much.
(& soryy for my bad english)

So The Word physical Describe The........ House\place\box\space The Cores Sit In?
Then I Understand that i have 2 actual cores in that.... place\box\space, (right?)
-
(2 physical cores In 1 physical CPU)? - (right?)
[edit]
oh, You said that. (sorry 4 bouble)
Well.....
That Makes Alot Of Sense!
Thank You.
(k, TX, ill delete this in a bit)

Yes. Number of physical cores is the actual number of cores that are there on a die (better word than place/box/space, right ? :D ). Some Intel CPUs have got a feature which makes one physical core behave like two cores, which results in some performance increase, and those two apparent cores are called logical cores.
