I'm looking to rebuild a computer for light gaming. I plan on running at 1680x1050.

I was looking at

Ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220466&&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&AID=10446076&PID=3705318&SID=skim1043X499650Xdb30b25337c23a2ffb09ec793ea37f1d

Cpu: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103846

Mother Board: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138290

Case : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146025

I currently own a old hard drive I'm not sure if I can reuse it or not if I cant I'm only looking for a small hardrive around 200 gigs that can boot quickly.

Thanks a ton for any help.

For 1680 x 1050 512mb Video RAM is fine and for a fresh gaming config i say go for the Rana X3 instead of X2 Callisto ^^ Good solid PSU u have there so no worries there ^^

The Game Rundown: Finding CPU/GPU Bottlenecks, Part 2
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/game-performance-bottleneck,2738-16.html
Conclusion: A Trend Toward 3+ Cores

The average optimal number of CPU cores suggested by the test results is 2.75, showing a clear trend towards at least three CPU cores.The question of whether the CPU or GPU is most important is easily answered. If you don't have a multi-core CPU, then upgrade it. If you have a dual-core CPU at around 3 GHz, then invest your money into a graphics card, as most games are GPU-limited. This is not something that will change with new DirectX 11 games.
