Amd 9850 dual graphics bottleneck?

What 2 ati video cards will not be bottlenecked by a 9850 at 1920x1080p i know that the video cards do most of the scaling at this point.


Computers use it for mild gaming and for video conversion.

The reason why i dont use my computer in my sig is because i dont want to leave it on 24/7 so this is my only option.

No not really no one gave a answer that made any sense. I know this cpu is not the best but then again if i use dual gpus from its time there should not be a bottle neck and I wrong or right?

Well how bad will 2 4850x2 bottleneck? I guess i need to get the right cards all i know is my 2 4870x2 which are now dead bottleneck decently in bc2 i got 40fps with one and 45fps with 2 lol!

The cf works best at high res.

saying as a single 5870 would bottleneck that cpu on some games.
i think you would be better of going for 1 half decent card and save some cash.
something like a 6870 which will give you reasonable quality in games, fair video encoding. and low power consumption at idle.
if your insistent on a dual card setup then 2 5770's

I have 2 4870x2 dual gpu cards which are both dead my fault lol. I am looking to buy 2 4850x2 dual gpu cards for 66$ each from a guy i know.

No, dont buy them.The bandwidth isnt as good.My advice is that you go for one good card.5770 would be great for your rig！

I have had a 5770 I didnt like it the 4850x2 will have better preformance over a 5770

Did you say you have or had one? you can pick them up for under £100 now so yes, cheap and decently powerful.

I had one i sold it mabye I didnt like it because it was a HIS idk. but i can get new xfx 5830's for 100$ each also so which is better, All that i know about the 5830 they seem to be like a gtx 465 choped down

out of all of them the ati 5770 is the best bang of the buck in that department.

i dont get it, why dont you just use your more than capable secondary i7 PC for gaming, and the other for normal use?

I really dont understand why someone always points that out lol. I am building this computer for a family member.... i have 8 siblings...... they arent useing mine.
