Hello cruzn4u;

You probably got that system covered with a 550W PSU. What make and model? Not all 550W PSUs are 'real' 550W capable.

A high quality 550W power supply should be good for just about any top video card (except dual GPU).
For two or more mid-range to top video cards you'll need to consider something bigger.

An Antec Earthwatts 650 or TruePower 650 will work really well in your case, and they are pretty cheap.

Mine has been chugging along for 2 years

yep 550w will do it, if you plan on SLI later I would suggest the tp650 it's pretty cheap right now at the egg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371021&Tpk=tp650
