First build

Hi tom's hardware community.
I'm going to build my first build for a friend, therefore I'm concerned about if something goes wrong.
Alright, so I know quite a lot of things about hardware, I've just never build a computer...
So right now I'm concerned about the components (if they work together) and if there's any bottlenecking.


MB: ASUS P8P67 EVO
GPU: SAPPHIRE TECHNOLOGY Radeon HD 6950 - 1 Go GDDR5
RAM: Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1333MHz 8GB CL9 (4 x 2 GB PC3-10600)
CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K
PSU: Corsair CX 600W PSU
Chassis: Cooler Master Elite 430
HDD: Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB (ATA-300, 3.5")

You can manage to get your hands on a P67 mobo and i5-2500K? You must be pretty lucky, since nobody has those in stock due to the SATA controller issue.

Aside from that, what is the budget you're working with, and what is/are the intended use(s)?
