Hello, please if I could help.... I recently bought a asus board m5a97 evo ... 16 gb of corsair ram the bus at 1600 MHz and FX-8150 processor.....recognizes the memory setup to 1333.....because when you try do not start the machine, beeps as if it could raise to 1600 .... memories in probe another PC and work perfectly to 1600 ... so I wonder if q could be the motherboard ... although according to the information that I have should work ....

I thank you in advance for any idea or suggestion. Thanks ....

Did you already try raising it to 1600mhz?
Many motherboards will run 1600mhz ram at 1333mhz by default, you have to change it in the bios.

What is the model number of the ram? If it's not rated to run at 1600mhz you may have to increase the voltage/relax timings to get it to run at that speed

Are you using 4 sticks of ram or 2? If it's 4 you may have to up the voltage a little to get it stable. Also check for bios updates, sometimes they fix ram stability problems with updates.

Did you manually set the timings, speed and voltage in the bios?

Hello.....AMD 100 series CPUs support up to DDR3 1066MHz. With ASUS design, this motherboard can support up to DDR3 1333MHz....Thanks for everyone
