Ambient temps? If your ambient is 30c for example,it is an excellent idle temp, but if you live in a refrigerator at 0c then you've got a problem.Anyways idle temps do not matter, medium load and full load temps matter. The first is the load while gaming mildly and the other while running furmark or some other stress test.If you're worried about temps,do that and if your temps get past 90c you probably have bad airflow or a badly seated cooler. If they get past 100c,then you have a serious overheating problem.

ok il download furmark, i tried the free version of 3dmark but i dont think the free versions very demanding. il post up in abit.

a bit more info, my rooms usualy between 20C and 30C (my gf has a heater on ALOT)

so im guessing 41ish isnt too bad, but il run the furmark thingy and il see what happens and post resaults
thank you any ways

ran benchmark mode on Furmark 1.7.0 and ran it for 5 minutes.

It was 23 degrees C in my room.

with xtreme burn mode, post FX and in furmark mode 1.7.0
Max temp got up to 85 degrees C

acording to HWmoniter, my GPU only hit 76 Degrees C

Confuseing.
Im guessing theres nothing to worrie about.

I just wanted to be sure =D

My Gigabyte GTS 250 1GB idles at 35-36c and never exceeded 59c under heavy load. it was also slightly oced to 750 mhz clock/ 1100 memory. ambient temp between 25-27.
