Just bought a new 24" AOC 2436vh monitor from Best Buy. Monitor has the option of HDMI or D-Sub. When connected to my HD2900Pro through HDMI (have an HDMI Adapter on the DVI port of the Graphics card) the Monitor did have about a 1" black border of unusable monitor space running around it. I fixed that issue by adjusting the display properties in CCC to 0% Overscan in the scaling options. So the desktop now fills the display and doesn't look the least bit distorted.

Now...the Issue:

I bought the monitor mostly for gaming (Borderlands, MW2).

When I start MW2 I get that black border of unusable space on the edges. I have the resolution set to 1920x1080 in the settings portion as well as the Win 7 resolution settings. I'm wondering if there is any way to fix this issue? Another note: If I have MW2 running, I have the black border. If I leave the game running and alt-tab back to the desktop, the black border is gone.
